Enterprise 2.0 is an emerging space which offers the promise to bring together Web 2.0, enterprise applications, business processes, communities, and social networks providing numerous benefits to individual users and the organization.
The purpose of this session is to explore the Enterprise 2.0 space, understand how it fits within an organization and IT, and the benefits Enterprise 2.0 has to offer. Examples will be drawn from real-world customer scenarios and experiences. The session will also draw on examples from Oracle’s Enterprise 2.0 offering, how these complement Oracle’s enterprise applications (EBS, PSFT, SEBL, etc.) and other middleware technologies (SOA, BPM, etc.), and provide some guidelines and best practices on how to leverage them.
Attend this session to learn:
What does “Enterprise 2.0” really mean?
What technologies and systems are involved and/or impacted?
How are Enterprise 2.0 technologies being deployed by other organizations?
What kinds of benefits might my organization see from Enterprise 2.0?
What are the best practices and next steps informing an Enterprise 2.0 strategy?
This session is designed for business users, LOB management, executives, and IT professionals. The session is not a technical deep dive on the underlying enabling technologies, but these will be touched upon to the extent that Enterprise 2.0 integrates existing systems, business processes, employees, citizens, and other organizations.
